Personalized Prarie Wedding

I'm not obsessed with all things wedding as I was a year and a half a ago, but I must share this morning's inspiration from Green Wedding Shoes.

Lauren and Dave were planning a big traditional wedding with the works. Some where along the way, it didn't feel like them, anymore, so they canceled everything, and took a break from it all. When they refocused on the wedding day, they wanted to remember the day as the most special day of their lives, so they spent the entire day together, baking the cake, writing the vows, picking up the marriage license, bouquet, and walking down the aisle together. I really love that part. When you think about it, it may be tradition for traditions sake to spend the day apart if you are already living together. If you live apart and you're being given away, it does make beautiful sense.

The FM station dedication is a sweet touch, as well.

Please read about it here and watch the video.

I've already cried in my coffee over this one :) .
Walking down the aisle together to the sounds of the swamp with 38 of their friends and family.
It's your wedding day,  make it a special day for you and your love. Yes, in hindsight, this is too easy to say. But if it doesn't feel right, don't do it anyway. If your day does not go according to plan, let it go. The wedding is between two people, not you and your flowers, cake, parents, etc.

And you can't do it over.

You said forever :).

(Have a good day!)
